Everything you need to play Memory RO. The full client is self-contained — you do not need an existing Ragnarok installation, and there is nothing to install. Download, extract, run.

Patcher only
Already have the client? · 1.75 MB
Only needed if you downloaded the client before the patcher existed. Extract
MemoryRO Patcher.exe into your client folder — the one containing
Ragexe.exe — and run it from now on.
Installation
1 · Extract the archive
Unzip anywhere you like — for example D:\Memory RO.
Use a path with no spaces or non-English characters if you hit any
trouble later. Do not extract into Program Files; Windows blocks writes there.
2 · Create your account
Register on this site, then use the exact same username and password inside the game client. There is no separate in-game registration.
Register →3 · Run the patcher
Open the extracted folder and launch MemoryRO Patcher.exe.
Windows will ask for administrator permission — click Yes. The patcher
updates your files and then starts the game for you.
4 · Log in and play
Pick Memory RO at the server select screen, create a character,
and you are in. Set your graphics options with opensetup.exe if needed.
Updates
You never need to download the client again.
Always start the game through MemoryRO Patcher.exe. Every time you run it,
it checks the server for new content, downloads whatever is missing — usually only
a few megabytes — and applies it before launching the game. Balance changes, drop
rates, NPCs and events take effect on the server automatically, with nothing to download
at all.
Troubleshooting
Google Drive says it “can’t scan this file for viruses”
Expected — Drive skips virus scanning on anything this large.
Click Download anyway to continue.
Windows asks for administrator permission
Normal, and required. The game client itself demands
administrator rights, so the patcher needs them too in order to start it. Click Yes.
“Failed to connect to server”
Check the server status on the home page first. If it shows online,
your firewall or ISP may be blocking port 6900 — try allowing Ragexe.exe
through Windows Firewall.
Client closes immediately on launch
Almost always a broken extraction. Re-extract the full archive
and make sure every file completed — compare the MD5 above against your download.
“Rejected from server”
Your account exists but the password is wrong, or the account
was never created on this website. Register above, then try again.
